Suggestion:open a category-"newly developed scientific software"

Dear Admin:
I find that R&D magazine rank top 100 innovation(Oscars of Invention) each year,and almost ever year there is a scientific software in the ranking ,like

and probably some of the software will change the world in future.So some of the soft may be helpful to others in researching.
So i think it will be good to open a new category "newly developed scientifin software"(or something else name).

Many of the software in the ranking hardly be heard elsewhere.

promoting SCILAB would be a good idea, first it's open source. It's free and there is a large enough community (based on scilab users list) out there who is using it. It is functionally similar to MATLAB
